There are many personal hygiene tips out there many of which are erroneous. Let's learn about some of them.
#1 Washing out toothpaste after brushing your teeth
According to dentists, washing out your toothpaste after brushing is counter-productive and makes the toothpaste lose its efficiency. By rinsing out the toothpaste with water, we also rinse out important nutrients such as fluoride that should otherwise be stored in our mouth.
After brushing, we should only spit out as much toothpaste as possible and not rinse it out.
#2 Leaving our hairbrushes unkempt
A hairbrush is an important item we use each day. Think of the amount of germs that could potentially be on it if not cleaned. It is advisable to clean our hairbrushes at least once a week with a simple soap or shampoo.
#3 Keeping our towels in the bathroom
Many people do not consider the importance of bath towels and the result of keeping them in the wrong place.
Towels can easily absorb all manner of bacteria and harmful substances in the bathroom based on the nature of the processes carried out in such a warm room. Bath towels should be dried out in a well ventilated place and kept outside the bathroom in a clean closet.
#4 Using hot water to clean our hands
Water has to be to a certain degree hot in order to kill germs better. This degree is harmful to our skin. It's rather advisable to wash our hands for a longer period and more frequently with regular water temperature.
