There are places on the Earth that are closed for ordinary tourists for some reason. There are photos of the things that you could hardly see personally. Check it right now!
1. Kofun. Japan.
Kofun is an ancient grave of the emperor's family. Only archaeologists can occasionally visit the place if the imperial stuff allows it.
2. North Sentinel Island.
Technically, India rules the island, but in fact no one dares to approach it. The aboriginals are hostile and ready to kill any stranger. Even Indians do not mess with those people. The government of India prohibits approaching to the island in order to protect both aboriginals and foreigners.
3. Area 51. USA.
Officially, the existence of the restricted area was revealed in 2013. According to the declassified documents, the territory is used for testing the newest flying machines.
4. The Church of Our Lady Mary of Zion. Ethiopia.
The Ark of the Covenant, the main sacred object of the Jewish nation, is situated in the specially constructed chapel. The guardian of the Ark of the Covenant lives there for the life term, forbidden to walk out and talk to strangers. No one else can approach the relic.
5. The Kahoolawe island. USA.
This thirsty island was a place for ritual ceremonies, a prison colony and a training-center of the USA. Now the island is declared to be a reservation, that you can visit only being a volunteer involved in restoration of the natural environment.
6. BT Tower (British Telecom Tower). UK.
The revolving restaurant and the sightseeing platform were closed for visiting after the explosion in the tower. Sometimes charity events are performed there and give the chance to observe London from another perspective to hundreds of lucky people .
7. The Ise Grand Shrine. Japan.
This is the main Shinto shrine in Japan. Only the priests and the Emperor family representatives can reside the shrine. The rest can observe the roofs of the shrine from the outside of several fences.
8. Varosha. Cyprus.
This quarter of Famagusta city was the most popular tourist place in Cyprus. In July, 1974, Turkish forces invaded the city and the inhabitants were evacuated. Since then, the city is surrounded by fence and is guarded by Turkish forces.
9. Sable Island. Canada.
It's small sandy island drifting in the Atlantic and a harbor for sunken vessels. Less than 30 people live there. The Sable Island is accepted as a reservation, due to its unique nature. In order to visit the Island you should get a special permit from the Canadian government.
10. Data center "Pionen". Sweden.
Originally, the place was constructed as a nuclear bunker in 1943. Today, it's an ultramodern office of a Sweden web hosting company. Located at a depth of 30 meters, the data center contains information of many popular web-sites.
11. Lascaux cave. France.
The entrance was forbidden for tourists in order to save ancient rock paintings. Today you can visit the duplicate of the cave or take a virtual tour.
12. The Don-2N radar. Russia.
This pyramid 40 meters high and 140 meters wide is an important part of ballistic missile defense of Moscow. Journalists can accidentally get into the station, but they would barely be shown much.
13. The hidden chamber. USA.
Behind the Rushmore mountain, there is a secret room very few people know about. It is situated above Abraham Lincoln's head and was made to serve as a Hall of Records of important documents of the USA. Everything is locked in a titanium vault. An average person can hardly have the access there.

I wonder why nobody from Israel has gone to that church in Ethiopia to check if what they say is really true! That the Holy Ark of the Covenant is there! How would it have gotten there?? The Holy Temple was destroyed by the Romans 2,000 years ago. Who would have been able to take the Holy Ark out without being noticed???

I don't know what guide books you have Not! been checking but I have read about several of those places in travel guides when I have been on holiday. Especially in London, Mount Rushmore, Cyprus, Japan, and France

Island of Monserrat is closer and more visible than most of these. After the eruption visitors are strictly prohibited.

Chaiya Eitan, I been in Ethiopia from 1964 to 1972 ,and the Local People are Seying that the Covenant of Noah's ark is being brought to Ethiopia by the Jewish Monks ,And not Any body Aloud to get inside the Special Chamber of the Covenant ,Except The Chosen one person !!!!!

As for GOD giving precise instructions on dimension as well as materials to be used in construction of these ARKS, is it not possible that the Ark of the Covenant was brought to Noah's ARK by either the mated pair of Polar Bears, Kangaroos, or Penguins ; and thus landed when Noah , et al, settled upon Mt Arrarat* when the waters receded ? * Modern archaeologists found timbers on that Turkish Mt & claimed it to be from the famous boat... (1960's) I offer this COPY of what I'd sent to another. That person wondered why people weren't flocking to Ethiopia to 'be there' I mean, look how Muslims regard Mecca, eh ! Anyways, here 'tis :
